9月10日 (金)  Katakai Fireworks 　 片貝花火 Last night I went to see fireworks in Katakai for the first time in my life. Katakai is famous for its "yon-shaku-dama", a firework which is as big as 120 centimeters in diameter. When it is shot in the sky, it spreads an area as large as 800 meters in diameter. It is officially recognized in the Guinness Book of World Record for the biggest firework in the world. Unfortunately it was drizzling last night, but fireworks were beautiful and so powerful! It's a shame that my picture doesn't show the real beauty of the fireworks. 昨夜、片貝花火デビューしました・・・初めて行ってまいりました。世界一の花火４尺玉はギネスに認定。今年は長岡で３尺玉を見ましたがそれより大きい４尺玉。あいにくの雨、小雨が降ったり止んだりの中でしたが、４尺玉のみならずどの花火もすばらしく感動しました。私の写真はうまく撮れたのがなくて・・・残念！
