| I was born on December 22, 19X0 in Komatsu
city, Ishikawa prefecture, which is located
midway on the western coast of Honshu, along
the Sea of Japan. I graduated, receiving
a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature
from Doshisha University in Kyoto. I have
been teaching English since 1989, and I also
work as a professional translator. I tend to get immersed in everything I do and that's my strength. I like words such as, "single-minded", "youth" and "curiosity". I want to always have a positive outlook and a continual sense of purpose without losing my curiosity and luster for life. |

I belong to an English speaking club called
"Communicative English Society (CES)", where we study English using primarily
a monthly textbook from the NHK English Radio
program and the newspaper "Japan Times
Weekly". I want to make friends with
people who teach, study English or do translation.
